Don’t sit Down

A jewel from a passing elder when I asked for Pearl.

“Don’t sit down”

I turn 48 next month and the empty nest outside my window is getting closer.

Bustling about my day my body has its aches and pains.
Gravity seems to be toying with me, the density of a befuddled feline pulling me dow only to playfully let me up.

It is when the weight of things pulls me towards the couch I pull out this jewel and let it’s worth shine through.

Don’t sit Down

You’ve got plenty of work to do.

Keep moving
Keep pursuing

Keep stepping towards a better you.
