Inconsistent Positions

Always and Never are poor positions to preach.

Sometimes and Hardly are easier to teach.

When speaking about people, speaking in absolutes can be intellectually dishonest, misleading and easily misconstrued.
Most people will instinctively react defensively and your initial concern or argument will be overshadowed.

It is a best practice to avoid speaking in absolutes beforehand to keep your concerns clear and concise.

The little things we communicate can cascade down a slippery slope quickly if we are not mindful of how they are received.
